Stefan Hoffelner has been at Oatlands Park Hotel for one year now and has created some great offers for the Food & Beverage department, such as our Weekend Afternoon Teas and upcoming Opera Dinner. We sat down with Stefan to learn a little more about him…

How long have you been working in Food & Beverage?

All my life – my father owned a group of restaurants and I was brought up around the business.

What is your favourite part of the job?

The execution of busy days that we planned well. It’s a great feeling.

What is your favourite dish on the Mulberry Restaurant’s À La Carte Menu?

Pan-fried fillet of Hake with pickled samphire and spinach with mussels and Noilly Prat white sauce.

What is your favourite beverage?

Hunters Pinot Noir
